Two robbers on a motorcycle rode up to a jewelry store in London, England, smashed the front window with a sledgehammer, and escaped moments later with 500,000 pounds (US$739,000) worth of loot. The daylight robbery stunned passersby, and was similar to one weeks before that netted 650,000 pounds in gems. A nearby shopkeeper railed against the robberies. “It always happens in the morning at stocking up time. This time the robbery was just opposite a bus stop. It shouldn't happen in daylight, it's bad for tourism.” He arrived at work to find “the hammer was still sticking out of the window and tourists were taking pictures.” (PA) ...Well make up your mind!
