Kimberly Appelby was riding in her boyfriend’s car in Doylestown, Pa., when the driver behind them started to honk his horn. Appelby asked him to stop by sticking her hand out the window and raising her middle finger. She was cited for disorderly conduct and fined $100. Her lawyer appealed the case, saying her right to free speech had been violated. Prosecutors have dropped all charges.
