Yeah, it's OK to have the half-naked woman. Even the slogan can stay. But you still have to change the sign....

Give 'em a Brake

The California Department of Transportation has demanded that Club 215, a strip club in Colton, change its billboard along state highways. They say the photo of a woman clad only in a carpenter's tool belt can stay, as well as the club's slogan ("Got Wood?"), but the logo for the club is too similar to the shield design denoting Interstate 215, which runs near the club, and must be removed. Roger Diamond, the club's attorney, calls the order silly. "No one seeing [the sign] would believe it's sponsored by Caltrans," he said. (Riverside Press-Enterprise) ...Sure they would: a construction worker just standing around next to the freeway is the only image most Californians have of Caltrans.

And the sign? Here you go!
