The running of the sheep has been completed in Reed Point, Mont. “It's just neat, something different,” said one tourist in town to watch as hundreds of sheep ran down the town's main street. The sheep run started out as a spoof of a cattle drive celebrating the state's 100th anniversary, but when the sheep run brought more tourists than the cattle drive, it became an annual event. “This is sheep country and we're trying to promote lamb,” said one resident. “It's like the running of the bulls in Spain, only a whole lot safer,” his wife agreed.
