California — The Grand Canyon State

The California State Assembly had to scramble to correct a resolution last week that proclaimed Yellowstone National Park as one of the state’s most treasured tourist attractions. Yellowstone is not located in California. “A typographical error,” Assemblywoman Juanita McDonald claimed.
