Call It What You WillA new lobbying group representing timber mills and commercial tree forests in 12 western states is struggling to come up with a name for itself. “Timber”, “manufacturers” and “products” are on their no-no list, which constrains them a bit. “What we’ve seen in the last eight, 10 years is the business we are in has truly been vilified,” says group spokesman Chris West. He says the search for just the right name shows “we want to be proud about who we are and what we do.” (AP) ...Then just call it the Association of Timber Product Manufacturers and be proud.
