Can’t Stop the Music

Rap singer Eminem played in Toronto, Ont., Canada, despite efforts to keep him out. Jim Flaherty, the Attorney General of Ontario, tried to block the singer from entering the country after critics complained that his lyrics promote hate and violence. If that’s moralizing, then I’m moralizing.” But Canadian immigration authorities refused to block the singer’s entrance. “We aren’t the thought police,” said Ministry of Immigration spokesman Derik Hodgson, noting that “if all people who made bad music were kept out of Canada, we could have stopped disco.” (National Post) ...See?
