The eighth annual Tour de Donut in Staunton, Ill., attracted a record number of riders. The 30-mile bicycle race’s rules allow contestants to take five minutes off their time for every donut they eat during the race. This year’s winner was computer programmer Roy Wehling, 29, with an adjusted time of 31 minutes after eating 18 fat pills en route. “Last year, I finished third when I had nine donuts,” Wehling said. “So this year I tried to double my donuts and have a good road time.” (UPI) ...I won’t have any respect for him as an athlete until he can attain a negative time.
