A San Francisco, Calif., radio station is in trouble after an on-air prank brought the police running. Two disc jockeys dressed as prisoners went door-to-door in Millbrae asking for help in cutting off a pair of handcuffs. Predictably, someone called the police, who arrested the DJs and charged them with “falsely causing an emergency to be reported.” The two face up to a year in jail and $1,000 fines. “We didn’t expect for the issue to cause such a major disturbance,” station manager Joe Cunningham said.
