Dominic Choy, of Cammeray, NSW, Australia, has filed a patent for a “lifelike flexible mannequin covered with imitation skin” with small motors to move the mannequin’s limbs “and other body parts.” What’s it for? Any two people with the mannequins can link up over the Internet ...um... and, well, “You’ve heard of distance learning,” says New Scientist magazine delicately. “Now it looks like distance sex is on the way. Couples can get together from opposite ends of the Earth” and have sex with the thing while it’s being controlled by the partner remotely. (AFP) ...Which gives new meaning to “I’m going to log on to the Internet.”
