Chuck the BarberarianCharles Gibson didn’t like the looks of his Lakeland, Fla., barber, Charles Smith. “I looked into his eyes. He didn’t look normal,” Gibson said. “I told him, That’s OK, I’ll get my hair cut by somebody else.’ That’s when he revolted.” First, Gibson says, Smith came at him with a straight razor. As the two struggled, Gibson says Smith bit his thumb off. “I told him, Look what you’ve done! Look what you’ve done!’ Then he spit it out and ran away,” Gibson said. Doctors were unable to reattach Gibson’s thumb, and Smith has been charged with aggravated battery. The haircut would have cost $5. (AP) ...If I had wanted a manicurist, I would have gone to one.
