The superintendent of the Virginia Military Institute says he’s working hard at integrating young women into his school, as ordered by the U.S. Supreme Court. But having female students is a “disruptive influence,” Josiah Bunting III says. “Young people who are thrown together fall in love and have physical relationships, and those things have an effect on the efficiency of a fighting unit,” he complained.
