Highway officials in Morris County, N.J., are having trouble keeping the road signs posted on Route 666. “This thing has got me crazy,” said county road department supervisor Joseph Stuppiello. He says the signs are either being stolen by amused tourists or by religious people offended by the “mark of the beast” signs. “You know, that’s the devil,” says one woman who lives near the highway. “Don’t you read the Bible?
