Daddy Dearest

Andrew Fader, 17, of Halifax, N.S, Canada, has a big mouth. When another boy dared him to stuff 100 drinking straws into his mouth, he found it was easy. “I thought, there’s got to be a record for this,” Fader remembers. “So I looked in the [Guinness Book of Records] and it was 151. I thought, I can beat that.” He did, after “several months” of practice, by jamming in 161 straws. “I’m proud of this one,” he said, presumably after yanking them out. And what does his family think of such world-record-breaking feats? “I think he’s a bonehead,” said his father, Gary. (Halifax Herald) ...No, bones don’t stretch that much.
