Desperate Criminals Nabbed

Railroad police for the Metro-North commuter line in New York stumbled across four men playing cards. They were arrested and charged with possession of a “gambling device” — a board they were using as a table to play poker on. The Manhattan district attorney’s office has declined to prosecute. One of the men, an attorney, said he has played cards on the train for 28 years, and his poker group was once featured in an article in a Metro-North in-house publication. (AP) ...Metro-North just wanted a piece of the action.
