Dial M for Mischief

Robert Poshusta of Noblesville, Ind., was at home when his phone rang. The caller identified himself as a Hamilton County sheriff's deputy and said that the department was aware of the eight-foot marijuana plant in Poshusta's back yard. If he cut it down and brought it to the department, they wouldn't file charges. Poshutsta did as he was told, but when he presented the uprooted plant to sheriff's deputies they immediately arrested him for marijuana cultivation. “It was a prank call,” Poshusta said later. “I don't know who it was, but I'll find out.” (Indianapolis Star) ...The next call: Bob, I saw where you hid the first caller's body....
