Dig ItOrganizers of a sand castle contest in Bognor Regis, England, have told Darryl Hardy that he cannot use a mini bulldozer to help him build his castle after Hardy announced his plan for winning the contest. “If one person gets the go-ahead to use machinery, then what's to stop others following suit?” asked Seaside Festival coordinator Paul Wells. “We would be forced to hand out hard hats in the interests of safety.” Hardy is upset. “I'm still determined to build the biggest sand castle ever,” he said, “even if I have to recruit an army of builders to help me do it. They'll regret the day that they tried to fight me on the beaches.” (PA) ...Apparently it'll be more of a sand machine-gun nest than a sand castle.
