An unnamed British dog breeder has been sentenced to 18 months in jail after admitting to 23 counts of insurance fraud. The 52-year-old woman kept dead puppies in her household freezer, next to her frozen food, and defrosted one when she was ready to make an insurance claim over the “death” of a valuable animal.
