Don’t Be So Negative

Christine Moody, 78, says she is allergic to electricity. The Southdown, England, woman said it started during a thunderstorm 20 years ago. Now, she cannot stand to be near anything electric, and lines her shoes with chromed leather soles. “I find it difficult to walk on pavements because of the underground cables,” she says. She is so sensitive to electric fields she must wear a wind-up, not battery-powered, watch. “Life is very difficult.” Difficult, but not depressing. “I can’t get depressed because I don’t think about it. I try to stay positive.” (PA) ...I think I see the problem.
