Drug Sniffing Dog

Suspicious customs agents in New York found five pounds of cocaine surgically implanted in a sheepdog flown as cargo from Bogota, Colombia. The implant surgery caused an infection, leading the dog to not eat, so the drugs bulged from the dog’s emaciated belly. Recovering nicely, customs officials are thinking of training the dog to sniff out contraband. A man who tried to claim the dog was arrested and faces 40 years in prison. (AP) ...That’s five years for trying to smuggle drugs, and 35 years for what you did to the dog.
