Dumb and Dumber

An unidentified man watched as two other men put on ski masks and checked out their guns before going inside to rob the bowling alley in Windsor, Calif. The robbers found the cash register locked, and had to be satisfied with the money in the tip jar on the counter. When they got back outside to escape, they found their car was gone — after the robbers went inside the building the quick-thinking witness got in the getaway car the gunmen left running and drove it to a nearby gas station, where he called police. The robbers have so far eluded capture, but their guns — and the small proceeds from the robbery — were recovered.
