Entertaining the World

Atos Zemperla, the “World’s Greatest Human Cannonball,” was shot out of a cannon at the Free Circus in Detroit, Mich. He landed in the hospital with multiple fractures after he missed his 20-foot-wide air pad and hit a concrete slab instead. Meanwhile, Rahim Taha, a snake charmer, took just five minutes to “tame” a 6-foot king cobra in a competition in Kangar, Malaysia. But he perhaps went a bit too far when he kissed the snake. He was hospitalized in stable condition after being bitten on the cheek. (UPI, AP) ...Well? Did he win?
