Fine for Feeding

Moskovsky Komsomolets, a Russian newspaper, reports that the Moscow Zoo will levy a fine equivalent to $125 — about 10 months’ pay for an entry-level worker — on people who feed the animals. “Oddly enough,” the paper notes, “those trying to get into the cage with the beasts (which in certain cases would amount to feeding them) will face a fine only a tenth the size.” (Reuters) ...Naturally: such entertainment attracts more visitors.
