Milwaukee, Wisc., mayor John Norquist has admitted he had a long-term affair with an aide. As soon as the intimate details of the “indiscretion” became public, the aide filed a sexual harassment complaint — even though the affair ended a year ago. Local residents are upset. “Especially going on TV and admitting it? With his wife?” one complained. “This isn’t New York or L.A.” It is unclear whether Norquist, who was just re-elected, will survive the revelations.
