Cassiday Perry, 17, was pulled out of class in Chalmette, La., for violating the school’s dress code. Any student wearing a dress or pants with belt loops must wear a belt, the code says. Normal procedure is to rent the student a belt for the day for 25 cents, but all 20 of the school’s belts were already rented out by the time Perry was caught.
