A bodyguard traveling on a train with Queen Elizabeth accidentally fired his service weapon into the floor of the train. “One minute everything was quiet then there was a hell of a bang and everyone including the Queen had woken up,” said an anonymous palace spokesman. “There was no mistaking it was gunshots.” No one was injured. The accident was just days after a similar incident when a Royal Protection Officer accidentally fired his weapon after another bodyguard “broke wind”.
