Linda Worrall, a mail sorter for New Zealand Post, suffers from arachnophobia — an unnatural fear of spiders. So she doesn’t think much of the country’s new stamp series, “Creepy Crawlies”, which features a katipo, a poisonous spider. Now, whenever she sees a letter with the spider stamp, she goes into a panic. “It’s something that could come off the page, which I know sounds silly,” Worrall says. “It’s hard for people to understand, but it’s so real.” NZ Post is paying for counseling. (AP) ...If she wants to keep her job she’d better lick the problem.
