Have it Your Way

Dayton, Ohio, police officer Michael McDonald went through a Wendy’s restaurant drive-through. He said he paid for his food with a $20 bill, but the clerk, Brandy Martin, 17, said he gave her a $10 bill. When she gave him his change, McDonald went into the hamburger restaurant, arrested her, and squirted her with pepper spray for not cooperating with him. Now McDonald, 33, thinks he could possibly have been mistaken. “He said after thinking about this for months and having plenty of time to think ... and after reviewing the [surveillance camera] tape several times, he may not have given her a $20 bill as he had thought he had,” said an internal affairs investigator. McDonald has been fired from the department. (AP) ...People are getting so tired of these “McDonald’s vs. Wendy’s” fights.
