Hit Parade

Kenneth DeLeon was walking on the sidewalk in Boca Raton, Fla., when he was hit by a car that jumped the curb. The impact plowed him through the car’s windshield and he landed, head first, in the passenger seat. That was just the beginning of his troubles. The driver, Adam Blumhof, 22, continued “driving with his left hand and with his right hand, he was beating the victim and telling him to get out,” a police spokeswoman said. When the injured pedestrian couldn’t comply, Blumhof allegedly pushed him out the door and sped off. DeLeon has a broken leg and arm, and a possible spinal fracture. Blumhof has been arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, battery and failure to render aid. (AP) ...For every accident, there’s an equal and opposite reaccident.
