Honor Among Thieves

Michael Smith, 30, was in the process of robbing a betting shop in London when his partner, who has not been named, suddenly decided that the robbery wasn’t a good idea. The co-conspirator arrested Smith, who had just relieved the shop of 760 pounds, and held him in a headlock until police arrived. Smith has been sentenced to 2-1/2 years in prison. The accomplice was not charged with any crimes for “obvious reasons,” the judge said. (Reuters) ...Good thing Smith was convicted, or his friend would probably have been charged with false arrest.
