This is True

I’ll Wait

An unidentified 80-year-old man, out walking near his home in Summerton, N.C., was stopped by a man in a car who demanded money at knife point. The victim said he didn’t have any money on him, but he did at home, so the robber offered to give him a ride. After arriving at his home, the victim went inside and called police as the robber waited in the car for him to bring out the cash. Police dispatchers could hear the robber impatiently honking his horn over the telephone. The car’s 54-year-old driver was arrested and charged with kidnaping and attempted armed robbery. (Sumter Item) ...The Bad News: robbers expect drive-up window service. The Good News: cops still pick up.
