Twelve convicts escaped from the Vridsloeselille state jail in Copenhagen when a bulldozer crashed through the security perimeter. A Danish television crew was there in time to tape the event, leading to charges of complicity. The crew admitted to receiving a tip that a “happening” would take place, but “we had no idea it would be a jailbreak. If we had known, we would naturally have informed the police,” they said.
