Britain’s Ministry of Defence is planning to decriminalize adultery in the ranks. Under proposed new rules, extramarital affairs between soldiers and civilians — “but not each other” — will be allowed, the Ministry says. A spokesman said recent scandals have convinced the military that society has changed since the no-sex rules were implemented, and trying to punish affairs is “unrealistic”. However, the Ministry adds, homosexuality will still be a court-martial offense, even though foreign espionage service MI6 “reportedly sent its first gay couple abroad.” (AFP) ...What an inappropriate gift!
