If You Can’t Beat Us, Join Us

The London tabloid newspaper The Sun suggests that Britain shouldn’t join the European Union, but rather might prefer to join another union. Their article “Twenty Reasons Britain would be Better Off as the 51st State of America” argued that taxes are lower in the U.S., American scandals are sexier, and “Americans speak much better English than the majority of Europeans.” (Reuters) ...It’s the best way yet suggested to move Mississippi from number 50 on the school quality list.
