Ill Annoyed

The Western Illinois University men’s basketball team had played several games in their new jerseys, but hadn’t noticed. Even the sportscasters didn’t notice. But finally someone watching a game on TV called the station to complain that the jerseys identified the team as “Illinios”. The station called Jason Kaufman, WIU’s Athletic Media Services director, to pass along the misspelling. “I was in disbelief when I got the call,” he said, noting that the team will play in its “away” uniform until corrected jerseys arrive. (AP) ..."We have know idea how sutch a missteak happined,” Kaufman’s memo to the University board claimed.
