Police in Federalsburg, Md., say that Carolann Pollard admits she has been feeding her husband, James, lead powder for a year to poison him. He got extremely ill, and she took care of him the whole time. “She was driving back and forth to hospitals and doctors and allegedly making sure he got his medicine,” James’ boss said. But apparently, she decided it wasn’t working fast enough, so she shot him. She is being held without bail on a murder charge. (AP) ...Either way, it’s still lead poisoning.
