Intelligus Minimus

James Ruben Mitchell, 20, of Harrisonburg, Va., had to stop by the county courthouse to make a monthly payment on a fine for drug possession. But deputies would not let him in the door until they figured out why he kept setting off the metal detector. Mitchell started handing the contents of his pockets to a deputy as they tried to find the errant bit of metal. One of the items he handed over: a bag apparently containing marijuana. He was immediately arrested on drug charges. The offending metal? A dime. (AP) ...A dime, 10 cents. A dime bag, 1 year.
