Disney Online wants kids to know they need to be safe on the Internet. Its British, French and German web sites recently unveiled a special version of The Three Little Pigs to help warn kids of the dangers of “wolves in sheep’s clothing,” followed by an animated Mickey Mouse warning kids never to give out their address or phone number. They should have posted it in the U.S., too: several days later an executive vice president from Infoseek, a Disney Online subsidiary, was charged with interstate travel with the intention of having sex with a minor. Patrick Naughton, 34, of Washington was arrested after meeting a “13-year-old girl” — actually an undercover FBI agent — in California after several alleged online chats with her.
