Billy Mitchell, 34, has become the first person to get a perfect score in the original 1980s Pac-Man video game. “This was the race to the Holy Grail,” Mitchell said after the 3,333,360-point six-hour game in Weirs Beach, N.H. “At about 1.9 million [points], I went off pattern,” he said. “I said to myself, I didn’t come this far to lose.’ I started talking out loud to myself, talking my way through it. I was able to cheat death, so to speak.” Mitchell also holds the world record for the video game Donkey Kong, which he set when he was 17. (AP) ...How “hero” is defined in the USA.
