Judicial Relief

The attorneys general of New York and Pennsylvania are pushing for federal legislation to stop frivolous and malicious lawsuits by state prisoners. One New York inmate sued because the prison made him use white towels — he preferred beige. A Pennsylvania inmate filed a lawsuit stating that he owned all mineral rights in Pennsylvania and Texas, and thus was demanding $700 trillion for all of “his” oil that had been taken from the ground without his permission. Another, Ronald McDonald, sued because he was removed from a work-release program when it was discovered that — yes — he was stealing hamburgers. (UPI) ...Plus he wants compensation because he claims the McDonald's “Hamburglar” character was based on him.
