Louisiana governor Mike Foster recently held a press conference with reporters, who asked him about his new grandchild. What’s her name? they wanted to know. There was a long pause. “You know, I’ve been real busy,” he said, trying to think. Nothing happened. “You know, it’s not as exciting as the first one,” he offered. The governor’s press office had to call reporters later to tell them: it’s Michelle Elizabeth, named after the governor’s mother.
