Lavelle Davis, 23, has been convicted of murder in Geneva, Ill. “This duct tape and the print found on it is independent evidence and it puts the defendant at the crime scene,” the prosecutor told the jury. Davis and an accomplice apparently practiced the murder before committing it, including gagging the victim by taping his mouth closed before shooting him.
