This is True

Let's Rehearse

The city of Wiesbaden, Germany, has apologized to a mortuary after police towed away their hearse while the undertakers were collecting a body. The mortuary will not have to pay for the tow, but will have to pay a fine for illegal parking. Meanwhile, a hearse parked at a church in Manila, Philippines, rolled away from its parking spot when the driver got out to help load the casket after a funeral. The vehicle hit 20 people and four cars before the driver could catch up to it and bring it to a halt. At least one man, a lawyer, was seriously injured by the runaway car, and the driver has been arrested. Finally, a hearse leading a funeral procession in Louisville, Ky., rear-ended another car, causing a chain-reaction pileup of more than a dozen more vehicles. Nine people received minor injuries. (Reuters, AP, 2) ...If the drivers were as alert as their passengers, maybe they wouldn't be having these problems.
