May it Please the Court

Attorney Phillip Robertson, in court to defend the suspect of a convenience store robbery, pointed the gun used in the crime at the jury, making some of them duck for cover. “It appeared to me that they were quite upset,” observed Assistant District Attorney Tom D’Amore. “I’m assuming that most of those people have never had a 9 mm pointed at their heads.” Robertson apologized to the jurors, “and said I was sorry if I shook anybody up. That wasn’t my intention.” The gun was not loaded, but Robertson is facing possible charges for his stunt. His client was sentenced to 13 years for the robbery. (AP) ...You have to admire his ability to get paid $200 an hour for that.
