The McDonald’s restaurant chain has lost a trademark fight in Austria against a hair-styling chain called McHair. “Of course we are not happy about it,” a spokesman from the hamburger joint commented. “Mc’ is the world-famous part of McDonald’s brandname and is used for other products like McChicken or particular services such as McDrive.” However, the food giant does not plan to appeal the decision.
