Katherine Ortega ordered a box of fried chicken wings from a McDonald’s restaurant in Newport News, Va., but one of the pieces didn’t look very wing-like. “I noticed that it had a beak and it had eyes,” she said. “I screamed.” The restaurant’s manager offered to trade the fried chicken head for a fresh box of wings, but “there’s no way I wanted another chicken box,” she said. “I will probably cook at home from now on.” (Newport News Daily Press) ...It could be worse: her grandmother probably had to behead her chicken dinners herself.
