Robert Horton posted $170 in bail to get his wife Belinda out of jail. Wanting to make sure she made her court appointment so he wouldn’t lose the bail money, the Phoenix, Ariz., man bound her up, including her mouth, with a roll of duct tape and delivered her to the Maricopa County Superior Court. “He said something like, Here she is’,” a sheriff’s spokesman said. Witnesses said she “looked like a mummy.” A fire department rescue crew was called to extricate her. “She was obviously very angry,” a fire official said. “She would wince every once in a while, but she didn’t say one word to our guys.” (Reuters, AP) ...Of course not: they were smart enough to leave her mouth for last.
