A teacher is suing “Mark and Brian,” two popular Los Angeles disc jockeys, after an on-air talent show went wrong. Jack Mettier, who was moonlighting as a security guard for the radio personalities, charges that teen-aged talent show contestant “Brandon MacDonell did swallow Jell-O and did intentionally, and with malice and wanton disregard of plaintiff’s rights, throw up the Jell-O on the shoulder, down the right arm, stomach area and right hip and leg of the plaintiff,” the lawsuit says. The lawsuit charges MacDonell, the DJs, two radio stations and the Mid-State Fair caused insult and humiliation because the DJs pointed toward Mettier when the contestant started to vomit, who complied with the implicit suggestion to upchuck on Mettier.
