No Soup for You!

Short-order cook Hashiem Zayed, 59, and waitress Helen Menicou, 47, had worked together for over 20 years at San Francisco’s Pine Crest Diner. As she had apparently done many times in the past, she yelled at him in front of the customers, a police inspector says, telling him not to make poached eggs since the dish wasn’t on the menu. “He says he just lost it,” the inspector added. Zayed allegedly shot her once, chased her around the restaurant shooting her four more times, then asked the cashier to call the police while he waited outside to be taken into custody. He has been booked for murder. “He was having a bad day,” the inspector explained. (AP) ...Sounds like Helen’s day kinda sucked too.
