Two Haitians, Patrick Louiseau, 26, and Florence Toussaint, 27, pleaded guilty to federal firearms charges after smuggling guns to Haiti. They purchased 20 handguns and a number of frozen turkeys. They thawed the turkeys, stuffed them with the guns, refroze them, and carried them overseas in their luggage. Convinced the scheme had worked, they were arrested after buying 90 more handguns.
